1. Service
VocaRoom connects invited contacts through chat codes, QR codes or invitation links for two-person text chats, international groups of up to 10 members and on-demand translation, with 75 language options. It does not offer random stranger matching. Features depend on the current version and in-app display. Registration is not required to use the service or buy credits. Users must meet applicable age and legal-capacity requirements.
2. Content and safety
You are responsible for your display name and content. You retain ownership and grant only the processing rights necessary for translation, delivery and safety handling. Harassment, bullying, fraud, spam, hate, unlawful content, explicit sexual content and any child sexual exploitation or grooming are prohibited. You may report, block or leave; a block in either direction restricts new messages in both directions. See the Chat Safety Rules.
3. Languages and credits
Translation depends on actual input and the recipient’s display language, not just the sender’s selected language. Simplified and Traditional Chinese are handled as supported language variants. Messages requiring no translation use no translation credits. When translation is required, the sender’s credits are charged; joining or receiving does not make you pay for someone else. Insufficient credits block messages requiring translation and prompt you to add credits; the app does not silently default to sending untranslated text. Concurrent sends reserve credits, successful processing settles usage and failures release reservations. The server ledger determines available credits.
Group usage is based on source character count and distinct target languages requiring translation, not the number of recipients sharing a language. For example, 10 source characters translated successfully into English and Japanese use 20 credits; English alone uses 10. Successful target-language tasks are settled and failed tasks release their reservations. A recipient with zero credits can view translations paid for by the sender.
4. One-time purchases
Translation characters are Google Play one-time products, not recurring subscriptions. Prices, currencies and taxes are shown by Google Play at checkout. Purchases are credited after server verification; pending, failed or canceled payments do not grant available credits. A consumed one-time purchase cannot be granted again simply by restoring purchases. This version has no account binding or device-transfer recovery. Uninstalling, clearing app data or changing devices may prevent access to prior credits and history; consider this before proceeding and contact support for assistance.
5. Refunds
Ordinary refund requests are limited to orders whose purchased credits are unused and unadjusted. Requests are for a full refund, not a prorated refund based on remaining characters. Once any credits from that order have been used, ordinary refund requests are unavailable. Contact msfc136@163.com for duplicate charges, service issues or statutory refund cases. Google Play refund policies and your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Remaining order credits are held during review and released after withdrawal or rejection. Approval still requires processing through Google Play; provider confirmation synchronizes entitlement removal. Google processing does not confirm bank settlement. Previously submitted requests continue through review and are not automatically rejected; pending requests remain cancellable. See Refund information.
6. Rewards
Welcome and referral rewards apply only to eligible users, subject to the dates, places and rewards displayed in the app. The current campaign is one-time and does not reset monthly. Qualifying referrals require real cross-language translation within the stated deadline. The same referral and campaign milestone are not rewarded repeatedly. Uncompleted reserved places expire; closing or filling a campaign does not cancel valid accepted commitments or purchased credits. Fake identities, bulk self-referrals and refund/reward abuse are prohibited. Risk checks and manual reviews do not guarantee rewards.
Reinstalling, cloning the app or changing an installation identifier does not automatically create new reward eligibility. Welcome and referral rewards depend on the active campaign and eligibility review, not every new installation.
7. Availability and translation quality
Machine translation can be inaccurate; verify important information. Networks, providers and maintenance can interrupt service. We address failures but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Reports or serious abuse may lead to necessary restrictions. Applicable law and non-waivable consumer rights remain in effect.
8. Changes and contact
Material changes to functionality, privacy or payments will be reflected in updated terms and notices where needed. Support: msfc136@163.com. Refund, referral and privacy information applies alongside these terms.
9. Group management and invitations
Group owners can manage invitations, remove members and dissolve groups. Removed members lose access, and a device digest may restrict the same device from rejoining. Dissolving a group stops further sending and invalidates old invitations. Group blocking affects new messages between the two members involved, not communication among other members. Share invitation links carefully; owners can disable or reset invitations. Removal, leaving or dissolution does not guarantee deletion of content already saved on other devices.
10. Message actions
You can copy, quote, view available original text and translations, and delete messages locally. Local deletion affects your device and does not withdraw a message from recipients. You may request withdrawal of your own message within 2 minutes of sending, subject to server validation and the actual result. Expired or unauthorized requests cannot withdraw messages. Withdrawal cannot undo reading, copying or screenshots. Credits used for completed translation are not automatically returned after deletion or withdrawal; reservations for unstarted tasks that can be canceled are released.
